Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. We happily accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and other dietary needs whenever possible. Many of our meals are naturally health-focused, and menus can be customized to fit your preferences.

How long will my personal chef be in my house each day?
At Healthy Living With Jess Personal Chef Service, you’re in an exceptional dining experience! Your chef will dedicate to three hours to crafting delicious meals specifically for you. they’re also serving and clearing plates, you can count on an additional hour. For dinner parties, the chef will on-site for four to six hours, ensuring every dish is tailored to impress your guests. Don’t forget the chef meticulously plans and shops for the freshest ingredients before stepping into your kitchen!
This sounds great! How long will I have to wait to get my own personal chef to cook weekly meals for my family?
We’re proud to offer our personal chef service starting in just 5 business days! Our chefs will meet with you to evaluate your kitchen. During peak times like back-to-school and early January, there may be a short wait, but we’ll be ready to serve you!
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance for private dinners and catering events.
Holiday events and peak seasons may require earlier reservations.

Menus can be tailored to match your goals and preferences.
Do you offer menu tastings?
Absolutely! Our private tastings accommodate up to 3 guests and start at $150. This fee reflects our dedication to quality, featuring meticulously prepared dishes that represent your menu choices. Enjoy freshly crafted samples while we present our portfolio and outline our policies. For couples with us during the tasting and who submit the retainer fee, the fee will be waived.
What is required to secure a booking?
Do you provide ingredients?
Yes. For private chef experiences and catered events, Chef Jess handles the entire process — including menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and kitchen cleanup — so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
For weekly meal prep services, groceries are purchased separately and are billed in addition to the chef service fee. This allows meals to be customized to your preferences while maintaining transparency around ingredient costs.
What is required to book the date with you? What is your deposit?
In order to reserve a date with us, we require a 20% deposit on the catering, and rental bill (if applicable), along with a signed copy of the contract.

For weddings, couples should allocate 30-35% of their budget to food and services to ensure a memorable celebration. We are dedicated to helping you create a menu and event plan that fits your financial parameters.
